WHY ARE YOU ACTING ?

“While I was crossing a mountain pass in the Rockies, driving my car, a snowstorm deprived me of all visibility. Blinded by the whirlwinds, I slammed on the brakes: Anxiety overwhelmed me and my heart began to beat wildly.

Soon the anxiety gave way to fear. I parked on the low side and waited for the storm to pass. Half an hour later the snow stopped falling, visibility returned and I took to the road again, before being again stopped a few hundred meters further: Paramedics were rescuing the passenger of a car which had struck another. If I had continued driving through the storm, I would probably have collided with them.

That day, fear may have saved my life.

All emotions are calls to action.”

“ALL EMOTIONS ARE CALLS TO ACTION.”

Here is how Daniel GOLEMAN, a trained psychologist, introduced his studies in his book “EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE“.

Daniel GOLEMAN is a graduate of HARVARD, with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

He was also Professor at HARVARD, and wrote many publications, including those for the New York Times: “Behavioral Sciences”.

In our approach to Counseling and Development of Emotional Intelligences, the analyzes and work of Daniel GOLEMAN directly permeate the lines of action of AMASYNG EI (EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE). We also base ourselves on the work of other psychologists, who have marked other advances in terms of the analysis of emotions and the development of Emotional Intelligences.
